Unless I'm mistaken, the current Ingenieur uses the "in-house" caliber 32111 (ValFleurier ebauche)
with 120 hour power reserve (5-days) and silicon escape wheel and pallet lever.... not exactly a primitive movement, but the asking price for a new Ingenieur is quite steep.

The lever part is very easy to wear and tear.
Actually my watchmaker friend holds 3 watches with this movement at the same time because of the lever problem. I'm not saying it will 100% have this problem, but the probability seems to be very high. ...
To me, 99% of my decision to buy is based on a watch's design, looks, metal, dial layout, features, colors, etc. kind of things.
I have no idea about movements, honestly speaking. As long as the watch runs fine and doesn't break down, I don't care what movement is powering the watch. That's just me, and I understand everyone has their own priorities.

It last for 5 days which is fantastic. And while movement us important, it is not “be all” for me. Sure, it could be more fancy and the time piece could have an open case back to show it, but it is within a soft iron case so.. Either way, I love the watch...
My Zenith Pilot Bronze has a winding issue where the crown slips. It had to be sent to the manufacturer where Zenith changed it out from a screw down to a non screw down.
They claimed it’s still 100m water resistant. However the crown still slips but I just wind it carefully. There are no issues at all with its accuracy. I’ve had other watches do this too with no affect on the watch.
