Are all brushed bracelets . The aqua dial is polished in the middle. I know what you mean, but I’ve never had too much of an issue with polished center links

And even more so in 2025 I think

I've never really been on the fence and passed. Never really been on the fence. Always felt strongly one way or another. If you're on the fence, then that means you don't like it enough!

The Alpine Eagle has a nicer movement for less money. And if you really want the REALLY NICE movement, the 96-series movement with Geneva Seal and Swan Neck regulator... That costs even more money but it's oh so worth it! ...  

IWC Ingenieur steel is $11,700 Chopard Alpine Eagle 41 is $14,800 Chopard Alpine Eagle XPS is $24,300

When it was announced last year! My plan is to wait until pre owned prices decrease. Its not a matter of if, but when, they def will!

Although I see you got a GP recently. That'll probably satisfy the itch.

The GP Laureato blue 38 mm has been a grail of mine for 2 years! GP case also fits my wrist much better than 41 mm AE

Still, I would say the Chopard Alpine Eagle 41 has a nicer movement than the IWC and overall is well worth the $3100 premium.

The titanium version is $14,600.00 which is more in line with the regular AE. ...  

Does it do anything for you as an alternative to the aqua / black / white dials? I’ll have to check it out in the metal soon. But based on pics alone, I find it rather flat , and much prefer the pop of color the green Ingenieur lends

It may be nice but at that asking price, I am sure I won't be impressed.

This IWC movement and Chopard movement. Literally night and day in my eyes. Alas, the 41 mm AE will not fit my wrist! The Ingenieur on the other hand, fits perfectly

A friend, who is also a reader on this site, also owns a Chopard Alpine Eagle XPS. Since I feel very comfortable with sizing this bracelet and confident I won't scratch anything, I helped him remove a link from his bracelet. And the ironic thing was that ...

I could be wrong but I think the chrono balance wheel has small weight on the side (no screws but less visible) which you don’t find on the standard time only or the 8Hz for that matter…so they seem to have put great consideration into the movement even i... 

The chronograph movement is a great modern movement. It's got a column wheel control system and is a little thicker, but this is very normal for a vertical clutch chronograph. A Vertical Clutch Chronograph has to be a little thicker, since the vertical cl... 

I only see the titanium Alpine Eagle on a rubber strap. Maybe it's coming on a titanium soon? Or maybe you've been offered an off-the-menu item. The one I tried on was this one: REF. NUMBER: 298609-3008 I wasn't crazy about the watch. But that's just me. ...

Assuming indeed I could convince them to make the bracelet. I don’t like their rubber straps. As for the price I agree it’s a bit on the high side for sure

it sits well even for my small wrist...tried it last week. However, I can't justify the asking price....and as has been said,will wait for a substantial drop in the pre-owned market before acquiring it

Prices aftermarket will certainly be lower, but feels like fair value in the hand even at MSRP. Either way a lovely watch imho
