Ciao Paneristis! I trust all of you are having a great start to the week! It's only 39 days left to the year, and boy has this year had it's ups and downs for me, in my business and life. Now, i'd like to challenge you all to a very simple math question, ...
(ref) No beer for me tonight because I have a big show in Wolfsburg tomorrow, wish me good luck! Cheers. Luc This message has been edited by luc00 on 2009-11-16 11:24:53
well anyway, thanks for letting us a chance, you could have blasted all of us, Nicolas ! Lets wait until the sun rises east again for Stephen's reaction! Cheers Luc
This ought to be interesting, but here I go: 12-49 + 9-59=22-08 Normal math by hundreds or 12:49 + 9:59=22 hours and 49 minutes Calculated using clock time where 60 equals 1 hour OK Stephen, let us in on the math question's answer. Cheers, Mark V
Ah..I think I know now, it is 2, of the nicest PAM's you could want in your collection. I surely would be happy with these 2. Stephen we await your answer in time. This came to me after seeing Antonty's post below, keep it simple...maybe that is it? Cheer...
Absolutely no pun intended! As a matter of fact, i already own the 2 watches pictured, the photos are of my personal pieces on my wrist! I promise i will give you all the answer, unless someone gives it before me for me. So it's not about the 2 watches, i...
Very very nice my friend! But still nowhere close! You'Re still in the cold at 0 degrees! Ciao! Stephen This message has been edited by BluNotte on 2009-11-16 18:19:04
The Cali dial is missing a second hand and has no numbers at 12, 3, 6 and 9. The 309 (or is that a 322, can't tell) has numbers at 12, 3, and 6 and a sub seconds dial at 9. "Adding" the dials together would result in a dial with numbers all the way around...
Interesting observations Jed. I like the way you think. The PAM 21 is a 47mm Radiomir with a Rolex movement. Like the others, it is also a special edition. The 190 is another Radiomir with a high quality third party movement, although it is 45mm instead o...
The 21 is a 47mm Special Edition Radiomir like the 249 and 309/322. Like the 249, it is a simple face with hours only and no seconds hand. The 21 has numbers where the 249 has no numbers (at 12, 3, 6, 9) and it has no numbers where the 249 has numbers. Li...
I won't say which of the 2 options that you gave me is close, BUT i will say that one of them is SO damn warm, with the exception of one minor detail! Btw, the piece that is in the photo is a 309. You are SOOOOOOOOOO close my friend! Stephen
Or else my name would not be BluNotte! ( imagine those old wild west movies accent! ) But you are correct, the sum of them 2 is going to make me even MORE Midnight Blue! Ciao! Stephen
. . . at 12:50, or 10 to 1; the second photo depicts a watch at precisely 9:59. It's obvious - you're telling us the odds are 10 to 1 that you'll get a Porsche 959. My prize is the watch, right? No? Oh, well, back to the drawing board . . . perplexed, Art
Frankly, i never even thought of that myself! I was picking photos of my pieces from my HDD, and i didnt chose them because of the positions that the hands were in! Sadly, no prize, because, wrong answer! Sorry to keep you perplexed! Stephen
I admit it, I'm beaten. My guess is that it's some special Panerai (probably in platinum or titanium) that has a special dial that is somewhat similar to both of the dials depicted. You are keeping me pondering!
It's true that i will be getting a 341 later, BUT this mathematical equation has got NOTHING to do with the Egiziano! lOL Stephen This message has been edited by BluNotte on 2009-11-17 03:23:40
24 9, 30 9, and time 49mn and 59 mn. 9 for 1 watch (24 9) + 9 for 2d watch (30 9)=18=1 + 8=9 9 and we are in 200 9 Cheers, What is the solution???? patrickh
But now that you mention it, if you are inclined to, please tell me how many ridges are there in the pink gold ring? And on seconds thoughts, while the number of ridges is really a pure fun thing that i'm suggesting now, the ring itself DOES have somethin...
Stephen, You mentioned that one of the possibilities that Jed mentioned was warm except for one detail. One of the suggestions was a watch that had all numbers except for 9, which is replaced by a seconds dial. I initially eliminated this path since no su...
Of which AFAIK and from what i'v asked and looked around only 1 piece exists in the whole world ( and which belongs to a certain fellow in Italy), i'd tell you guys up front. Will NOT be playing with this kinda game! That being said, you are colder. Not i...
I wasn't sure if this was more of a puzzle that included all Panerai watches or one that you were going to buy. I thought it might be a watch you were buying since you said the answer was coming in a few weeks time but I wasn't sure. I'm out of thoughts f...
Honestly speaking, i'm already smiling like crazy right now that my jaw even hurts! No, the answer to the equation is just one! But, it'll be one that will garner quite some controversy. Or so i think. Thanks and will be unveiling it all soon... Ciao! Ste...
I learnt from a website that there will be a new model in 2010 with 249 dial, second sub-dial, 309/322 case and minerva movement!!!...Limited to 12 pieces!!!. Cheers, Mat
Thanks for the photo. Nice job tracking this down. I think some people will like it but traditionalists will probably hate it. It's an odd combination of dial, case material, movement and details.
Well, i had wanted to give the answer when i got my piece, my looks like someone else already did! As much as what Bullish has provided is the CG image, i will give live photos of mine ASAP i get mine! Ciao Stephen
My pleasure, it sure was fun wasnt it? The equation and all the guessing! Anyways, will be the 1st to post when i get mine! Unless of course someone does it again before me! On top of that, this piece will be that much more extra special for me because i'...
The 249 indeed is a beauty without the seconds dial, but i sure am NOT complaining when given the priviledge and honour to acquire this Ultimate Radiomir prototype of the 21st century! Ciao Stephen
Hey guys, Well seems like the word is all out now, so i'd thought i'D give the details that i know and can confirm for my upcoming piece. The name is Radiomir Minerva 47mm Titanium. The specs of the watch are as follows: PAM00349 Black Dial 100m Water res...
Which yes is the same as the ring. The delivery date is due for Mid- December, in fact should be shipping from Switzerland this coming week. Cheers Stephen
It's a big surprise for me to knowing that panerai will produce a watch with cali dial again. No doubt, It's a great watch indeed !!! I am looking forward to seeing a wristshot with a PAM 349 real soon. Congrats in advance.
Actually it wouldn't be so, because as much as I do love Platinum and it's usage as a watch case material, for a Panerai ( the only brand with this preference) i'd strongly prefer a NON-precious metal, and in particular i love a titanium pam! Will post th...
