I'm not a fan of „brand bashing“, but I find the "steps backwards" that have been made very secretly remarkable.
Suddenly, since 2020, the 9010 movement with the same name (!) no longer has any hacking seconds (seconds reset function) and shows a complete cancellation of any discernible decorations and is hidden behind closed casebacks. Without changing the information on the website. Why?
I think that we should (and must!) speak honestly about such developments here in our forum.
Especially if you love a brand.
Because these discussions among watch lovers take place behind more or less closed doors anyway.
And from my point of view, discussing these problems openly includes a .. small chance that a brand will correct its course again if they notice that customers do not appreciate it. At least that's my hope. And I say that as a big lover of a 127 with a beautifully decorated ETA movement 😉.
