I can easily relate to your frustration because I did experience something similar with my Vacheron watch. I turned to VC asking for a refund or a new watch when speaking to a man in charge at VC Geneva. He really exeeded all my expectations telling me on the phone "if you let me personally take control over this I promise you that your watch will be fixed". I was upset and angry at that time and had lost faith in VC and my watch however he convinced me to accept one more attempt to get my VC watch working. I can say that I am very happy that I agreed to let him take control of the process. Today my watch is till running like it should. VC did not only fix it it, they extended warrany time on it as a compensation for the time the watch has been away. My other VC watches is getting top class service when needed. As a final compensation VC organized so that I could buy a highly sought after VC watch right away despite a long waiting list. Today I am a loyal VC fan and thanks to this relation I am having at VC Geneva I am acctually thinking about buying a vintage VC watch which is someting I would not do without this type of support.
