In the photos, seems like the J looks better and very attractive.
Just like I have a few GMTs and Daytonasā¦it now makes absolute sense.
I probably wonāt get 2 of the same references but if they are so good, why not? I have never seen a 5970 in real. I thought itās also got the same movement as 3970, so does it make the movement look small in its 40mm case?

I get it. They have very different vibes, platinum and black dial, yg and white dial. Very nice combo. If I had to pick one likely the P for versatility and that it's platinum. Otherwise that J is really top class too!

I could get into deeper troublešbut I will do my best to resist. But if I were to add a third one, it would be most likely the G. For me the yellow has a warm vintage feel ā¦. classy while the P is bold sporty and daring.

That way, when you send one in for service, you wonāt miss it as much. š The white dial is a bit more legible in my opinion, but I have always liked black dialed watches so my answer is again, both. š
I personally like the J a lot better,
as itās so full of life and light, and as Iām not fond of white metals nor of black dials. And, as I love the warmth of rose gold, I think I would also enjoy the R very much, even if it might be a kind of heresy to many seasoned collectors. As for the 597...

And Wei Koh's bespoke chocolate dial version is quite attractive. But the regular J or R remain by far my personal favorite. Imho, opening the J, though double-sealed, was a great decision: wearing this piece must be an absolute pleasure!

Somewhat to my surprise, because Iām not usually a colored metal fan, I prefer the J for its legibility and vintage vibe. Both are terrific.

Also, the same can apply to items other than watches.
If I remember correctly you have an incredible trio of platinum black dials - 3970, 5970 and 5004. I think each 5970 variant is significantly different
from the others. Same goes for 5070s . Canāt go wrong with any variants of these Lemania based watches.
