From the 5159R i love the retrograde date and the onion crown. The design is in my opinion too classical.
On the other I absolutely adore the 5940G, for me this year's best release by Patek. I generally love tonneau shapes, here perfectly combined with a PC. I would say that for a Tonneau shape the PC is ITS complication. Further the dimension are very elegant and the Breguet numerals are the cherry on top. Regarding the movement I generally prefer automatic watches but here the use of the micro rotor does not cover the rest of the movement, something that happens in the 5159R.
So without hesitation I would go for the 5940G, for a really winning piece.
I look forward to know your choice.
Best.
