In this case, Patek for me
I’ll never be in the position to any watch of this level, and if would probably go a different route. But with choice limited to these 2 watches, the Patek would be the only watch that could be worn comfortably. And in this league, I suppose one starts also to think about how the watch will age in all possible ways: maintenance, looks and value....
But as Damian said, pretty sure one of these will just make you more excited as the other one. As you are a Patek guy, perhaps it is th GF, otherwise you’ll never ask the question?

The reason would be that it would be my grail watch. As a watch collector i love every watch that i own and use every watch that i own. Some watches might mean more because they have been bought for a special occasion

Simply no comparison. GF is the pinnacle of watch making. I have both the GMT and GMT Earth variations of GF. The wrist presence is massive and the watch is a pure work of art.

PP is a amazing and beautiful brand but my absolute grail watch is the GF GMT 👌🏻😘 I do like all Greubel Forsey watches but this one is top imho (Watch not mine ,yet!! ) ...
They are actually exactly the same
The GF shows that it is an automat in the dial. The Patek shows it on the back. Patek has possibly got a better value in the future but the GF is more of an automat.

GF usually for quality, but Patek quality at this level is very very good. So it's really down to subjective preferences and which complication you prefer. But movement wise the GF is prettier.
