It's up to you
IMO, it is totally unprofessional for your Ad to try to profit off of you. Granted, he needs to make a commission, but if he is doing this under the guise of his company, without his superiors knowing about it, who knows what else he is doing. If it was me, it would raise a caution flag of mistrust for future purchases.
On the flip side, if you have the resources and don't have to worry about it, why not?
As far as the appreciation in value, none of the Purists buy it so we can sell it, rriiiggghhhttt?
