I agree with a lot of what you said, even if i love the brushed texture of the 5270G, which i think gives life to a dial, contrary to the 5170G or 5270G white, which feel "dry", a dead white dial, that doesn't play with light , without texture or finishing. It doesn't feel some work has been given to it. Another thing, the case is called "grey gold", and it doesn't shy as the Wg. Will that white dial pops out strongly. Its a matter of taste, but that combo is not the best they've done IMO. About the 5270G blue, you are right, its very close to 5070P, except that the contrast with the platinum case, especially the one of the 5070P, is striking and much much nicer than the grey gold case of the 5270G. One thing i would add is that with the 5270G and 5170G, patek started with a new Wg alloy, that shines less than 5970G. I personally much prefer the 5270G to the 5970, for many reasons, the movement is clearly in another league, there is no comparison here. The case is more proportioned, and something i've noticed, it looks good on bigger and smaller wrists ( without going in extremes sizes )
