Simple elegance

I love collecting and wearing my Patek's because of they are 'elegant, yet simple'. The few I have are very similar, round case, beautiful dials, exquisite hands, unique indices, and all have different lugs. From 1940s thru 1967 these treasures are very stylish even today. Of the hundred or so guys I see at the golf course weekly, I know of ONLY ONE person that know what a PP is. My favorites are the two ref 2526 pieces that look alike but each 'feels different on the wrist. My other former favorite is a ref 3444, automatic yg w/diamond indices, which my wife confiscated years ago, it is a real beauty. All together I love all these babies, and would not part with one....tradition is an important factor, but 'simple elegance' sold me on Patek long ago.
