Yep, all these six watches
are no name - no date! I have been following this dealer of 2nd hand watches for a while and he seems to have often quite modern watches with papers without date.
My logic is working in such a way that one shop can't simply all the time find watches with Certificates and open dates in the papers. I.e. now they have two ref. 3940 for sale with open dates. I have been dealing with the owner - I wouldn't buy a second hand car from him. And after shaking hands I'm counting my fingers...
But think in such a way: buying in a second hand Patek Perpetual without papers and then "finding" undated papers add the value a lot. In such a case just collecting the manuals, buying a box and "finding" the papers might add the sales price with some 5k.
