The ones who stay silent take no risks. And for the record, "Cubitus" is a medical condition; so perhaps the "gentlemen and ladies with interests in the medical profession who know too much" who would immediately hear such a word and think "disease" shouldn't be faulted for their extensive vocabulary in Latin and medical-speak. I understand that not everyone understands Latin nor knows the names of medical conditions and immediately make their own assumptions. We cannot think in the way that some doctors and Latin-educated people do think. Overall, the many people who thought "disease" were not being discourteous nor ungentlemanly, just victims of being well read (and many of these people do work in the medical field). Thanks again Gordon for the clarification. I for one am looking forward to seeing the Cubitus in person! Oh - and on a lighter note - I've had over three friends who say this lamp (which I find to be very cool) looks like a virus!

I will say though, that I would not constructively criticize anyone at a cocktail party, even more so if they did not explicitly ask for it. So perhaps the cocktail party analogy gives the wrong idea when it comes to brands rather than forum members.

Gordon, I think it's a nice try on the part of PP.
Even PP has Aquanaut and Nautilus as its sport lines, these still carry a bit of dressy look. I remember Jaegar LeCoutlre launched the Squardra line more than 10 years ago but it didn't do well. I am neutral to the new Cubitus line, hope it will sell well...

It has not been confirmed. But I believe in an interview, TS alluded to continue developing/experimenting offering more options to customers.
I do not recall any mention of when new versions will be produced. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Because I would be a more interested buyer if something smaller were to be released. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts when you see the new piece...
