Richard Mille

Completely agree with Scribe...

... the RM005 is nothing to be ashamed of, and neither is the RM010. Only thing I have against the latter is the fact that the bigger case is there only for effect, and has not even a shadow of functionality since it houses the same movement as the RM005. I have nothing against bigger watches, in fact I'd love to own  a, say, RM004 which is exactly the same size as the 010, but for a reason. The case has to fit the movement. If not, it leaves me with the feeling of buying some very expensive (hot) air.

It's true, the essence of the RM brand lies in the extremely high-tech Renaud&Papi movements, but lots of innovations plus the brand image effectively found their ways into the Vaucher-powered machines.

One thing about investment value: if that's your main priority, I recommend you buy that same-priced Patek Philippe Annual that's mentioned above. It's a no-brainer. Richard Mille has risen very fast in the horology hierarchy but yet has to prove itself long-term. It's simply a bigger risk than Patek, which you merely keep for the next generation as they say smile

But if you don't mind a little bit of risk, like to depend on your own taste and above all, want something that's fun to wear: RM rules!
