One more point on purchasing...

Pre-owned pieces do come up once in a while. I would recommend perusing the dealers first (you may be surprised at what you may be able to achieve), and then keeping an eye whether a piece comes available in the secondary market. The key is to buy the seller, not the watch, especially when it comes to the investment that you will be putting into this fine timepiece. To put it another way, would you buy a car over the internet without checking the car and checking the dealer first?

Also, there have been a rash of watch-related fraudsters on the auction site whose name I won't mention. Stay completely away, and be diligent with your purchase.

Cheers,
Peter
