A true leaf style minute hand is thin on both ends and bulbous in the middle (like the hour hand). The minute hand is bulbous at the end and ends in a sharp tip. This is more akin to an aplpha or lancet style hand. I still think RD house style is to pull some "funny business" by mismatching the hands. It's just their style I guess.

Does it bother you that RD often uses “mismatched” handset? The hour hand is pear or spade shaped while the minute hand is plume shaped. This has always irked me a little bit about RD.
