Rolex

Had been in the hunt for my first sub for a few weeks, and finally picked one up today. I wanted to go old school but not to old for my 1st, as I plan to put it in my rotation and wanted a sapphire crystal. So without further ado my new to me, unpolished ...  

A vintage you can use as a modern, if you take care of it, and regularly check its water resistance. Yours has a warm patina which is very nice. Best, Nicolas

Trasitional is the matte dial with painted index's. Vintage Rolex have plastic crystal IMHO and the transitional sapphire is so close to vintage as you can get. In a few years they will be vingate too.

The 16800 but to each his own. Very nice Sub and big congrats! I also love the warm Patina as it sets watch apart.
