You might want to check out the caliber 3861 Patrick. I have been a Daytona and Speedmaster fan for over 25 years and own over a dozen of each...11 - 2 Moonshine...

You brought up a lot of good points...

There is no "might" Patrick. You are clearly biased based on your decision and reasoning. No harm or foul committed as we are ALL biased based on our preferences, influences, marketing, social media, perception, etc...

I would not describe the ' green ' daytona as a gold giant... now if you use a full gold zenith daytona. then we are cooking...

A great pair but... the Speedmaster is my favorite! It seems very “fresh” compared to the Daytona.

I think you misunderstood the point of the choice in this exercise. For me, I obvious chose BOTH 😜 but if I had to choose, it would be an easy decision as I would choose the Moonshine without hesitation...

Totally understand your decision. For me, the RED bezel was one of the strong points about this special watch. Maybe it has to due to culture as I am of Asian decent so red is an important color signifying strength, prosperity, etc...👍😁

Generally I'm a bit biased towards Omega .. but I do appreciate Rolex too. Went back and forth over and over (your sweat pics) and I can only conclude what you obviously did... own both! :-)

Finally, someone who understands me 😁😉. BOTH is clearly the correct response 👍👏

Mostel beat me to it.. if that dayto didn’t have pcl and just brushed gold on the bracelet, it would be the dayto for me. But it’s a close one as i like the moonshine as well. Good you have both :-)

I see your point but the bracelet and the PCL were never a detractor for me. I still would choose the Moonshine for other merits. So which was your choice ? 😉😜

To me an all-brushed Daytona bracelet would look funny with the all polished case. The PCLs are fine in this instance but the Moonshine is just a better color.
