I'm criticizing your arguments. Whether you're a decent person was never a question for me, I am just as sure as you are that you are kind and caring. But that doesn't mean I can't criticize your arguments and whether they stand up to scrutiny, and in particular their tendency for scepticism. Just as well as you are entitled to hold your opinion, I am entitled to hold my own, which involves disagreeing with the reasons you articulated here for being sceptical of climate change and its impact.
I have my priorities as well, but I was struck by the kind of arguments you made and wanted to say something about them, just as you had wanted to say something initially.

But with the world population continue increasing, lets see if technology would be able to support increased activities and consumption with lower carbon emissions.
What I'd like to see is for information distribution systems to stop being more and more like Tass. "That" is the best thing that could happen for the planet and the people on it.
