Then to see the same movement in the Patrimony, then in the American, then in this one is another argument which didn't please me. I know that Vacheron is far from being the only one to do so, but what I don't like here is something I don't like elsewhere... 

Hi Bill, I saw and tried this new Malte at the SIHH in January and appreciated the refined simplicity of this watch. Still I must also say that for me Vacheron Constantin means refined watches indeed, but with a stronger look. To some extent this one look...

Hi, We can quite probably say that at the time of the presence of Georges-Auguste Leschot at Vacheron & Constantin (1839-1882) Vacheron & Constantin made some fully in-house calibres (but who can say if that was all of their production). Then it's...

This watch is a real beauty on pictures. I haven't tried it on yet but only saw it in a shop window. It's so pure an delegant, a nice shaped original watch compared to what we can see here and there in that field. I'm not a fount of knowledge concering VC... 

I think that it lacks character and I'm not convinced by its case shape. Anyway, thanks a lot for this detailed presentation! Fx

It is interesting that the Malte Small Seconds that was delivered came with the old-style Geneva Seal papers, when I see the Geneva Seal imprinted on the watch caseback. I guess this is a transitional time for VC watches in this regard. It is fascinating ... 

It seems like all the Vacheron Constantin timepieces that I want to try all have the 4400 caliber within them. The Patrimony, the Americano 1921, and now the Malte Small Second. It's nice to have a watch that is an interesting shape now and again. Diversi...
