From Baselworld 2016 trade show, Chopard Co-President, Karl-Friedrich Scheufele had a spontaneous chat about the new L.U.C 1860 XPS steel watch and a video is available here.

Don't you just love it when Life and Things fall into place?

It was not a planned meeting as we already planned a formal interview at the end of the exhibition week.

Mr Scheufele was so excited about this rather 'purist' decision to offer L.U.C watches in steel cases that he could not wait to tell PuristS about it.

With the magic of modern technology and devices, a nice person captured this video for us.

No script, No director, No rock music, No special effects, No actors.......Just friends and purists chatting for PuristS with only 3 minutes notice...That's spontaneous.

It WAS the 20th anniversary of the L.U.C factory: what else could we wear? Of course, the L.U.C 1860/1 original watches were de rigueur for Baselworld 2016 ! We would have been "undressed" without them. Of course, Mr KFS had a special piece unique modified version as a gift from the current Mrs KFS. Regards, MTF

PuristS review visit of Chopard Boutique in Costa Mesa, USA

PuristSPro Chopard Forum moderators 'CaliforniaJed' and 'MTF' visited the only Chopard Boutique on the West Coast of USA. It was my first visit although Jed had been before when other 'management' was in-office. Indubitably, we had a copacetic experience and an amiable host. Chopard Boutique Costa Mesa USA Newport Boulevard, Costa Mesa 1950s Costa Mesa is a small city (population 110,000) in Orange County, California, USA.
