Hands on review of the Tag Heuer Carrera Heuer 02 Fragment

Avatar

I would like to come back to one of the watches in my collection: the Tag Heuer Carrera Heuer 02 Fragment. In fact, beyond the fact that I appreciate it very much, it symbolizes, in my opinion, a very interesting approach of the neo-retro style. Tag Heuer could have been content to clone the reference Carrera 2447 NT which was used as inspiration for this model but the brand decided to collaborate with the Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara to give it a touch of originality and a more contemporary atmosphere. .....Story

A day at Manchester thanks to Tag Heuer

Avatar

We are in the first day of 2020... but I would like to come back to one of my best memories of 2019! Actually, I had the privilege to attend a prestigious football game at Manchester, in the famous Old Trafford stadium: the BIG GAME between Manchester United and Liverpool. Actually, this opportunity came thanks to Tag Heuer which is the current sponsor of the Red Devils team. When Tag Heuer proposed me this quick trip to Manchester, I couldn't resist...Story

Three Tag Heuer novelties have just been unveiled

Avatar
foversta
Tag Heuer has just presented during these last weeks of the year 3 novelties which are interesting from the strategic point of view. Indeed, they confirm the positioning of the brand in the world of motorsport and they allow it to address a particular client base: the customers from Latin America. Indeed, the watches in question, which are evolutions of existing models are all referring to legendary motorsport drivers: Juan Manuel Fangio and Ayrton Senna. This is obviously not the first time that Tag Heuer .....Story

In-depth review: Heuer Monza "40 years"

Avatar
Marcus Hanke
Heuer Monza Chronograph 40 years anniversary re-edition Review by Marcus Hanke In 1976, Jack Heuer designed the first „Monza“ chronograph, to celebrate Niki Lauda’s 1975 first world championship won for Ferrari. That watch was all-black and used a round case design with integrated lugs. Forty years later, TAG Heuer’s re-edition of this first „Monza“ is different, but quotes the strongest design elements of the original: the all-black case, the combined pulsometer/tachymeter scale on the rehaut, and the high-contrast ... ...Story

Exhibition of historic watches at the Tag Heuer Boutique of Paris

Avatar

There is currently at the Tag Heuer Boutique of Paris a small exhibition which gathers several historic pieces of the brand. It is a very useful exhibition for those who don't know well the history of Tag Heuer and of Heuer since it displays various iconic watches, some of them being subject of revival decades later. The exhibition highlights the wide range of style, of design and of purposes offered by Heuer. Most of them are chronographs but we can feel a large gap between the Autavia and the Montreal.....Story

A quick picture... just because I love my Tag Heuer V4!

andrewluff
No long explanation needed.... For me the V4 ticks a lot of the boxes and mine also ticks that extra orange box! The V4 is an amazing piece with a great story behind it, can you believe the concept was presented in Basel in 2004... still today it is futuristic and the update for the carbon case just gives it that space aged twist. I wear it a lot and it always gives me pleasure and a smile on my face Cheers Andrew ...Story

TAG Heuer: The long road to Monza

Avatar

It was a victory forty years in the making as Jack Heuer, Honorary Chairman of TAG Heuer, took to the stage to accept the Revival Watch Prize at the prestigious 2016 Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie de Genève in November. This year’s prestigious Revival award was for TAG Heuer’s 40 th Anniversary Monza, announced earlier this year at Baselworld. Four decades ago, the original Heuer Monza was designed by Jack Heuer, the great grandson of the brand’s founder, Edouard Heuer. The latest Monza is not merely a reincarnation .....Story

TAG Heuer 41mm Aquaracer Black Phantom: Where light and dark peacefully coexist

Avatar

Okay, so I admit it, I’m a sucker for a black watch. So when TAG Heuer announced their new 41mm “Black Phantom,” I couldn’t help but take notice. At a time when the new Carreras are commanding the spotlight, I was curious to see how TAG Heuer would continue improving the Aquaracer line. I’m happy to report that despite the success of the new Carrera Heuer 01, the Aquaracers undoubtedly remain relevant and a mainstay of the TAG Heuer lineup...Story

TAG Heuer on Race Day at the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500

Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend the 100 th running of the Indianapolis 500. Having recovered from this adventure, I’m sharing my first Indy experience. Racing, as we all know, exists and prospers via advertising and corporate sponsorship. But what I realized during this race was that TAG Heuer enjoys a unique and significant relationship with IndyCar...Story

One day (and one party) with the Tag Heuer Connected watch on the wrist

Avatar

A few days ago, I had the chance to participate to one of the events organized to officially launch the Tag Heuer Connected Watch in Spain. This cocktail party took place on the Terrace of Rabat boutique in Barcelona, a great venue for this kind of event... and I have to confess that it is less risky to organize an outdoor event in Spain than in France due to the weather conditions! The connected watch is a very important project for Tag Heuer. The proof is obvious: we just need to observe the personal commitment .....Story
