another watch that came out of the vault earlier this week was my 1966 Chronograph. Naturally I had to give it some wrist time and took the opportunity to take a quick series of fresh shots.
A very warm watch with warm colours.

Thanks E. overall, I agree that without the date it would be even better, but when wearing the watch it does not bother me at all. I took a lot of time deciding which 1966 Chronograph and this model just ticked all the right important boxes for me. CC

Sure, can do! just I need someone to send me over his 5070R for the photo shoot. However, expect the photo session requiring a 10 year optimisation phase. CC

Warm, then... Not cool, for this week Really nice chrono and while I agree that it would have been better without the date, I remember your post about the selection process and find the subdial spacing to be the more important aspect, which this version manages spot on...

Exactly, it was a long process and I'm still sure I took the right decision the date window is less pronounced on the wrist than on photos and does not break the look of the watch overall. Much better in that position even if a bit centred than a date window at 4:30. This message has been edited by crown comfort on 2016-09-02 00:...

I agree and it could be quick though... ...come to Paris with your great GP 1966 (and some others ) and we make a nice shooting session
