Some Girard Perregaux novelties.

Here are some of the novelties.
One you know, but in a new ( to me ) case and dial combination.
1/ The Vintage 1945 Earth to Sky Edition:
The case is in DLC Titanium, 36, 10 x 35, 25 mm big, with a sapphire case back and a polycristalline blue dial.
The movement is automatic, the well known Cal GP 3300, beating at 28, 800 vibrations per hour, and offering a power reserve of 46 hours.
Here, for once, I find that the XXL case goes very well with that dial.
2/ Vintage 1945 Infinity Edition:
Here, the case is in steel, with the same proportions, with a sapphire case back, housing the same movement than the " Earth to Sky edition ". bu here, with a superb black Onyx dial, offering a superb depth.
Now, some round watches:
The Free Bridge Infinity Edition is a 44 mm case, made in DLC Steel, with an Onyx dial and a Neo Bridge. The movement is the Cal GP 1800-1299, offering a power reserve of 54 hours. A version I like a lot.
The Laureato Infinity Edition is 42 mm big. Onyx Dial and Cal GP1800 with a power reserve of 54 hours. That one, I would have loved to see it in a smaller size, without date!
Let's end with the Cosmos Infinity Edition, and its 47 mm titanium case. Here you have a night and day indicator, a tourbillon, and the Zodiac Constellations. A iteration of the Cosmos, unveiled a few years ago, but here with an Onyx dial.
Well, these are iterations rather than true novelties... Which I regret a bit, truth to be told, even if some of them are really cool looking, such as the Free Bridge and the Vintage 45 Earth to Sky.

Thanks a lot, Nico. Nice to see GP still gives us hope ;) I like the 45 vintage sky to earth, only wish it were in steel, not DLC titanium. And the cosmos is amazing but out of reach. My biggest wish is that GP will be available again in my country so I can really try and buy the Laureato 38. Have a great day, m...

The 1945 with onyx dial is beautiful The gold indices stand out warmly too.

Hands on review of the Girard-Perregaux Free Bridge

Girard-Perregaux presented the Free Bridge along with its Infinity version at the end of August during the Geneva Watch Days. This watch is in line with the brand's strategic direction, which aims to strengthen the two key collections in the catalog: the Bridges and Laureato collections. I appreciate this approach. Girard-Perregaux has suffered for many years from a lack of identifiable models that could have brought a positive impact on the entire catalog.
