Got this watch a while back, but I'll share some photos here now. Personally I think Glashutte Original makes watches of exceptional value, given the meticulous dial work and movement decoration. The movement finish is not quite Lange level, but very close nonetheless. The best part is GO makes these beauties in stainless steel, which makes them much more accessible to 'normal' folks.
Unique off-centered dial
The dial is very interesting, as it looks slightly different under different lighting. It is a silver dial, but sometimes it can look cream and sometimes white. Very difficult to capture in photos.
Moonphase complication + Panorama date. I personally prefer GO's date over Lange, where the first digit is filled in when it's zero instead of being empty, and also that the two numbers are on the same plane.
The blue hands contrasts very nicely with the dial. The fine printing on the guilloched portion is also exceptionally crisp and clean.
The movement is the part where I first fell in love with. German 3/4 plate, 'small' rotor, gold inlay, black polished (I believe) double swan neck, etc. Very unique compared to Swiss brands.
Super macro; the finishing is just gorgeous. The carving is not as fine as Lange here, but is very pleasing nonetheless.
I find the movement of the Panomaticlunar to be extremely artistic, very beautiful layout and the use of gold color is pleasant to the eye. The dial on the other hand is clean, well proportioned and just typical of German spirit: flawless. When I received the watch, it is absolutely perfect everywhere, not even the finest hairline scratch. The movement is dust free and free of imperfections even under 20x loupe. I think this is the first watch I've ever received in such a literal flawless condition and makes taking photos much eaiser. Even after a few months of wear, somehow I see almost no swirls or fine scratches on the case either. I think it is due to the layered shape of the bezel and the use of brushed finish on the side of the case. I'm very very happy with this watch, and remains one of my favorites in my collection.
