Last Thursday, I had the chance to participate at the opening cocktail at the Biennale des Antiquaires at the Grand Palais in Paris. The most famous jewelry Houses take advantage of the prestige of the Biennale and of the opportunity to meet potential clients to present or unveil their latest collections. Of course, Harry Winston is one of these big exhibitors and as we could expected it, the gathering of jewels inside the booth is truly impressive.
When I visited it, I had the feeling to watch fireworks of necklaces, pendants, earrings, bracelets... including some from the Water collection, the very last one.
I propose you a walk inside the booth to discover some of these high jewelry pieces.
The Grand-Palais is located a very few steps from the Champs-Elysees:

An overall view of the exhibition. You will notice the Balloon which is a key element of the decoration of the event created by Karl Lagerfeld. What a beautiful location!
A few hours later, a view of the Harry Winston booth:
Frédéric de Narp, Chairman and CEO of Harry Winston was happy to welcome the guests in his home country:
Let's enter the booth.
It was designed to recreate the exact atmosphere of a Harry Winston Salon. I could feel it even in the smallest details.
The Water necklace and earrings. They are like a cascade of jewels!
This necklace was inspired by the drops and the fluidity of water:
Two superb bracelets:
One of the most famous timepieces, the Ultimate Adornement. This watch can be worn as a pendant or as a brooch. It is made of 62 carats of diamonds and 14 feathers. It is an other example of the tribute by Harry Winston to Feathers Art as we could see it at Basel with the Premier Feathers.
Sapphire ring and earrings:
The Emerald collection:
The Ruby collection:
Iconic diamonds bracelet:
A showcase was dedicated to the high jewelry timepieces:
This is a full-set Avenue:
A Signature Lace:
Sadly, there wasn't any high horology watch. But I couldn't leave the booth without taking at least a picture of an Ocean or Premier watch! Hopefully, one Harry Winston manager was wearing this super Z6.
As I often say, the Z6 is my fav Harry Winston watch with the Z4. I like the way this alarm watch was designed both movement and dial sides.
Movement was created by Chronode (Jean-François Mojon) in partnership with Harry Winston:
The lay-out of the movement with the specific balance bridge and the two barrels, one being dedicated to the alarm:
The traditional wristshot:
The Biennale will close the 23rd of September. So if you are in Paris, don't hesitate to visit it. The location is a must-see in Paris especially during the evening when you are able to see the stars through the glass roof. But the stars are also very close to the ground and you will be amazed by this impressive gathering of high jewelry pieces in few square meters.
I would like to thank a lot the Harry Winston team for the warm welcome.
