We have all heard of watchmakers like Kari Voutilainen, Urban Jurgensen, Sarpaneva, Linde Werdelin, Torsti Laine, Gustafsson & Sjögren (GOS) watches from Sweden but there are many more who are making amazing watches in the Nordic region that are rarely or never mentioned on our forum. We will Explore those Watchmakers today.

Reima Koivukoski is an independent, artisanal watchmaker based in Helsinki, Finland, who produces customized, completely handcrafted mechanical timepieces. Operating out of his atelier on Annankatu, Helsinki, Koivukoski is known for modifying vintage calibers, manually fabricating cases and dials from scratch, and utilizing traditional haute horlogerie techniques like Grand Feu enameling.

Pietari Kupias is an independent Finnish watchmaker who creates highly detailed, hand-finished mechanical watches from his independent atelier in central Helsinki, Finland.
