Welcome Nilo! Moderator for Omega

Nilo doesn't really need much of an introduction from me as he has been around for many years. A regular contributor to many forums, but now the active Moderator for Omega. Firstly, congratulations Nilo on taking on the Omega forum.

Omega is one of the most exciting  manufacturers. In terms of tool watches, it sits at the top table. Its history and continued innovation has kept it at the top table. I have no doubt at all that with Nilo, the forum will continue to prosper and will be as alive, passionate and enthusiastic as Nilo is himself. Bringing an expertise in photography, an eye for detail, natural passion for watches and energy to the forum, I look forward to participating in what will undoubtably be a fun and exciting forum.

It is an honour for me to use my 5000th post on PuristS to welcome Nilo back as the Omega Moderator!

Welcome back to the Gang, Nilo. My best wishes for your new moderation. Omega is a tough forum to moderate, since the field of vintage watches is very wide, and the modern producton has to be explained. Looking forward to reading you, Best, Nicolas

Who knows about the future ... It's only a matter of Rolex to make a Rolex watch that don't look like a Rolex watch (no cyclops, no Sub / GMT looks, no Daytona look and the list goes). In this way I can wear a Rolex here (this one that don't look like a Rolex) without being chased by c...

Thank you all ... In special to you (Joe) and Art. I'm excited to be back and more excited to be on a brand that almost everyone has at least one piece. Omega, after the brilliant embracing of the Co Axial technology invented by George Daniels, is on a ramp up in terms of ...

Congratulation, Nilo - Good To Have You Back... ... Where you belong. And what would be better than to welcome you back with a question/issue: Last night I was up a little later than usual and thought I'd watch the date indicator turn over on my new Aqua Terra. So at about 8 minutes before midnight I n...

I have a deep love for Omega sports watches and I always keep my eyes open for nice examples. But this time, the story of my new purchase is unusual… as I was not looking for this watch at all !! I have always considered the Flightmaster as a weird object, with a monster sized case and a busy dial that I did not understand… until a couple of days ago, when a friend of mine offered me this example and let me play with it…. then I discovered a super-cool 1970’s piece of design and a watch with very useful and ... .
