Totally agree with you!
New technology is expensive, and not all of people has or will have in the near future the means to pay for it. Also, as a new high tech savvy generation grows and learns how to deal with this new challenges, there’s noting like “old and known”.
Just look at Mad Max movies, and how many old and atmospheric aspirated V8 are there! Because you can fiddle with a carburetor and a throttle, but hardly with a burnt computer.
And that’s good for us who love old metal!

Computing power and sensors are the new horsepower. You hit the nail right on the head! I notice my Tesla gets better every couple of months. The continuous software updates do make a positive difference improving the car's smoothness.
