Well, maybe i'm a bit cynical toward this type of marketing marketing. Personally i don't care for co-branding or even more than co-branding. In the end Blancpain's goal is to make and sell watches. The more marketing bla-bla they use, the more they distract from the actual watch in my opinion.
I can still remember the marketing around the Azimuth Twin Barrel Tourbillon, stating it was heavily inspired by, as they put it themselves, “the most hard core contemporary super cars that only the most well heeled and affluent watch connoisseurs can appreciate”. In the end it looks like a watch heavily inspired by Urwerk. The marketing they used only annoyed me.
I don't mind marketing, co-branding or special relations between a car brand and a watch brand. But please keep it real... The Blancpain Super Trofeo Flyback is in my opinion a beautiful and well designed watch and because it's very flat it feels good on the wrist.

the lambo is a very radical brand and the watch should have been more radical to suit it. to pick up on the analogy Ping used, the watch is more an M5 than a ferrari. Graham
