Breguet

I learned today that the hand for this watch is hand blued over a vintage alcohol lamp. And then the center is recessed with a handheld burr and polished with a small wooden stick! And then, it is flipped over on a soft pad and a roller bends it to the pe...

I was fortunate enough last november to visit the Breguet manufacture in Le chenit close to Le Brassus. During the visit they show us exactly what you explain. They made two hands of the Souscription in front of us. This is really hand crafted. I will eve... 

But that is what we fools can't get enough of.

It is a very unusual style of Breguet hands. Probably unique. Looks extremely delicate. On a lot of older watches with breguet hands, it's extremely common to see the tip snapped off (usually not a huge deal as the overall length isnt shortened too much)....
