I strongly doubt there's any risk for MB&F
Just like I doubt anybody's ever cancelled his Asaoka Pura Tourbillon because of Kurono Tokyo, and I doubt anybody's ever bailed on a waitlisted Omega Ed White Cal. 321 because he was offended by the Moonswatch.
And I've been doing this for years, but I don't recall anybody dumping his $800K+ FPJ Sonnerie Souveraine order because Journe decided to sell a $12,000 quartz men's watch back in 2016.
Strong brands are allowed to sell occasional branded accessories or low priced novelty products without retaining a crisis management team. I can go buy a Scuderia Ferrari team jacket off the official site right now, but I doubt my declasse consumerism is going to cost Ferrari any Purosangue pre-orders.

Brandwise i think it is helpfull for making a larger audience aware of MB&F, as with the ( early ) cheap Ming watches and also the Bunkyo Kurono ( Asaoka ) watches.
