I didn't want to hold his Stanford education nor his lineage against him, but of course, this did enter my landscape of thoughts - I'm not naive to not consider this. And I too thought many in our group enjoy schadenfreude and criticism. But I was mainly hoping the group would consider this... Very few of us - if any - have actually made a watch. Some of us have customized a watch. But few of us have actually designed one and made one. Now Fleming isn't screwing this all together. And some of our readers have assembled do-it-yourself watch kits. So I was just hoping that people would appreciate one collector who actually put his time and money where his mouth was and actually created something! But I guess this schadenfreude group will criticize first and my point that this collector is quite special to take so much initiative.
