A Companion Perhaps?
My Spitfire Mark XV was my first nice Swiss watch. It just came back from a visit to the Richemont service center and it looks and feels brand new. I've been pondering a hand wound, black faced watch with no date for a while. I like the look of both the Portuguese and the Portofino (and I also like the moon phase). The larger diameters don't excite me on paper but I'll need to see them in person... The DaVinci does nothing for me. I'm also not a fan of Roman, but the font on the Portofino is quite nice.

These watches are meant as complements rather than replacements. I do agree about the Da Vinci's shape but this is the shape of the original Da Vinci and is reflective of the era in which the original was conceived (not the greatest of times). - SJX
