Wow, SJX, nice post!
The only one I don't appreciate a lot is the Da Vinci...
I prefered the round one,not that "Tonneau"...
But the Portofino, then the Portuguese, the Aquatimer, the Pilot Watch, the Ingenieur, are in this order my favourite...
I think that IWC has done with these pieces, a very nice work...
It will be interesting to see them in the flesh, as the size are quite important..Around 44mm, a bit less for the pilot watch, 42,5mm, but abit more for the Porto Fino, 46 (!!) mm...
But one thing is sure, it was 3 or 4 years that I found that IWC has lost his inspiration...That's, IMO, a good coming back!

These watches are meant as complements rather than replacements. I do agree about the Da Vinci's shape but this is the shape of the original Da Vinci and is reflective of the era in which the original was conceived (not the greatest of times). - SJX
