Dial design in the Ingenieur...
Thanks for the depth-write up SJX.
I’m not sure if it’s only me but when I first saw pictures of the new Ingenieur vintage, it made me think of PP 5107P. IMHO, They share the same dial design and look absolutely the same-- black dial, baton indices, dauphine hands and date window at three o’clock. Perhaps, only case dimension and bezel are a bit different. It would be interesting to see how PP fans would react about this.

These watches are meant as complements rather than replacements. I do agree about the Da Vinci's shape but this is the shape of the original Da Vinci and is reflective of the era in which the original was conceived (not the greatest of times). - SJX
