As we know that nicolas is wrong 
why should JLC make a Lange finish on this watch?
They can make a nice finish, but if it is to make a Richard Lange copy (probably at a close price as a consequence of the finish), I doubt it would sell.
And I personaly don't feel the need for such watch.
What I'd want is a modern watch, more in the spirit of what Richard Mille could offer for a round chronometer for instance......

72 hours is a usability thing
72 hours of PR means it can be a "weekday" watch, that you needn't wind during the weekend. I think using the 2 barrels of the cal. 875, but geared for precision rather than 8 days, would give you a flat enough torque curve for 3 days A
