smaller sizes or different metal combination ARE going to happen, so please don't bash Panerai for it. Producing these models is part of growing as a brand.
I don't want to look like I'm defending Panerai and nothing bad gets to spoken about them, but I just don't get it when people post remarks that "Oh my god, what is Panerai doing? They're releasing a 47mm version now." All this is expected of them and should not surprise anyone.
Look at BMW. See the # of different cars they are making today? Take for instance the X line. They had the X5, now then made a smaller X3, and now a sporty X6. It's like in Panerai terms, a 40mm, 44mm, and 47mm model. It's all about expanding the product line, and what BMW is doing is what Panerai will be doing.
