Yes this will most likely happen
Panerai only has the Luminor and Radiomir cases in current production, and Mr. Bonati told me in my interview with him several years ago that Panerai has so much more to grow using these 2 cases before even having to consider making a new case style. We have 40mm, 42mm, 44mm, 45mm, 47mm, and now the monster Egyptian sized cases.
It is my bet every different combination for "special dial", movement, etc. will eventually be used as time goes on as long as it fits that sized case. It may take 20 years to do so, but eventually it should happen IMO.
As Panerai grows larger, this is what should be expected of them, so don't be surprised to see them using different combinations w/ different cases. So if you like a specific model like the 47mm PAM127, expect a 47mm PAM127 base sometime down the road or maybe even a 44mm 1950 base. If you like the a 44mm PVD or Black Ceramic Luminor, expect a 47mm PVD or Black Ceramic Luminor sometime in the future.

At SIHH 2009, the PAM349 was supposed to be the PAM321 on bracelet. Panerai doesn't have this model listed on its website, so does this mean they did not make this PAM349 (PAM321 w/ bracelet) ? PAM321 And so, gave this PAM349 designation to this new 47mm ...

Is that all PAMs are originally black, with some in blue, it's just their exposure to the sun and elements over the years turned them into brown! So even though nowadays the quality of the dial materials are way much better than back then, i'm sorta apply...
