At SIHH 2009, the PAM349 was supposed to be the PAM321 on bracelet. Panerai doesn't have this model listed on its website, so does this mean they did not make this PAM349 (PAM321 w/ bracelet) ? PAM321 And so, gave this PAM349 designation to this new 47mm ...

Is this a real picture? The numbers and markers on the dial don't look quite right to me. The 12:00 triangle marker in particular looks misaligned. Best, Jed

There was no other watch like the Cali. Touching an Icon is not a good idea, IMO. Then again, there are some contradictions to use a Minerva movement while you're claiming to be a Manufacture. Therefore, A proto with a NOS movement??? To me, it is just a ... 

It is a special piece, and you know i love my 249! I guess for me and Panerai, while I do respect and love their historical authencity very much, i also do not mind and infact welcome with great pleasure these sorta " modern" interpretations of their watc...

Is that all PAMs are originally black, with some in blue, it's just their exposure to the sun and elements over the years turned them into brown! So even though nowadays the quality of the dial materials are way much better than back then, i'm sorta apply... 

It was on many other Rolex models from the 1940s...I have seen many other watch brands with it...while I associate it with Panerai it certainly wasn't theirs alone...yes I love the history of the 249 but what is wrong with building on it and giving it a m...

Does Panerai have an extensive history with movements supplied from Minerva? I'm only familiar of the history with movements supplied from Rolex. All of your Pannies are 47mm and up? Wow! Those are some big Panerais! Admittedly, I have difficulty wearing ... 

Is not so much in the watch movement, unlike Rolex and Angelus, but is more in that Minerva used to supply parts that are critical in constructing timing devices that Panerai used to produce. ( I presume these are the bomb timers) With the exception of 2 ...
