I love my 3800. I had both for about a month or two and I wore 3800 way more so I keep it. For me that first picture of yours is just why I didn’t like it. I like seeing some bracelet when I look down at the watch on my wrist plus there is just a lot of empty space on the dial. If I have to choose between 3800 and 5712 I might go for the latter. Try 5800 you might find it perfect. I have 5065 in my collection so I kind of don’t want two kind of the same size watches.

I'm not particularly drawn to watches with integrated bracelets. But in this case, the 5711 is by far my favorite.
I couldn't be sure until I tried it on,

These are good review points.
Over a decade I found the blue dial would present itself in varying shades depending on viewing conditions, and the proportions and thinness very pleasant. Of all the watches I've owned the 5711 1A is my all time favorite.

and it speaks volumes about how great this watch is. I have no doubt that the blue dial is very nice and versatile: I’m just personally more drawn to other colors, which is why I chose the grey dial Alpine Eagle. Best, Emmanuel

Tbh i have never been a huge fan of the Nautilus and also not a big fan of bracelet watches . Imho the AP has an overall better design . I understand the appeal of the Patek but its just not for me 🤷🏻♂️

I love the 5711, and I've also bought the AP15450 and GP Laureato, but they are similar to the 5711, yet not the same. However, your frank opinions (even if they differ from my preferences) are very persuasive.

I completely understand why you would choose the Alpine Eagle despite valuing the 5711. I was able to buy the 5711 at a much more reasonable price back in 2012, but now it's incredibly expensive.
Well, it didn't feel “remarkable” or “spectacular” to me,
