when you say that it’s the most iconic PP design. It’s far from being my favorite, but, yes, it’s probably the most iconic and it’s great in its own right, no doubt about it. So I understand the hype even if, like you, I have other priorities. Cheers, Emm... 

I'm not particularly drawn to watches with integrated bracelets. But in this case, the 5711 is by far my favorite.

I consider myself quite lucky indeed to have been able to try this one on, especially as it allowed me to better understand the charm of this timepiece, even if, as I said, I have other priorities and preferences. Best, Emmanuel

Over a decade I found the blue dial would present itself in varying shades depending on viewing conditions, and the proportions and thinness very pleasant. Of all the watches I've owned the 5711 1A is my all time favorite.

and it speaks volumes about how great this watch is. I have no doubt that the blue dial is very nice and versatile: I’m just personally more drawn to other colors, which is why I chose the grey dial Alpine Eagle. Best, Emmanuel

Tbh i have never been a huge fan of the Nautilus and also not a big fan of bracelet watches . Imho the AP has an overall better design . I understand the appeal of the Patek but its just not for me 🤷🏻‍♂️

but I understand the appeal now, and I think I would personally choose it over a RO (but I've never seen a Jumbo in person. Best, Emmanuel

I love the 5711, and I've also bought the AP15450 and GP Laureato, but they are similar to the 5711, yet not the same. However, your frank opinions (even if they differ from my preferences) are very persuasive.

I'm not particularly drawn to steel watches with integrated bracelets, as I much prefer the feel and look of a leather strap and of precious metals. These watches are also poorly suited to desk work, as the strap gets scratched with every contact. That's ... 

clear winner vs other brands (including Chopard Alpine Eage which you must love), why are you not more excited about Nautilus ?

It's the steel watches with integrated bracelets, not the Nautilus specifically, that don't particularly appeal to me. I much prefer the feel and look of a leather strap, as well as the look of gold or platinum. These watches are also very poorly suited t... 

I completely understand why you would choose the Alpine Eagle despite valuing the 5711. I was able to buy the 5711 at a much more reasonable price back in 2012, but now it's incredibly expensive.

but of course it depends on the size of one’s wrist and on one’s tastes. Also because of my personal tastes, I like the “simple” 5711 better than the 5712. But it’s just a personal preference. But I’m sure your 3800 makes a great duo with your 5065! Thank...
