that red text on the dial was unnecessary the pusher should have been integrated in the winding crown I tried hard, really hard to count at least some sharp inward angles ... but failed And not a fan of the dial, the newest 5370 on the other hand has a ma... 

The recent 5370R is much more appealing, even if the subdials are also placed below the 9 to 3 line. Best, Emmanuel ...  

How they do it here and how they did it ( or still can if they take a bit more effort ) ...

Which is good But since the 5470 is close to euro 500k …. It could be better Can’t afford that kind of watches but if I could I would prefer the 5370 …. By far

I don't know yet if I'll actually buy it. I find all these current prices quite... (sorry) obscene. Ultimately, they're concentrating on fewer and fewer customers and milking them dry. A widespread problem in the watch industry. Just my2c. 🙏

...especially in a 'sporty' watch. Platinum for a thin dress watch...

I guess such a piece isn't made for collectors seeking high-end hand finishing.

This aesthetic is really nice indeed if one likes the sporty look.

I think this watch is just - ok - but doesn’t get my juices flowing. It is aligned with Pateks overall aesthetic codes or design philosophy. Classical with a twist of modern that feels quite cold and industrial. It’s a shame because PP is an amazing brand... 

All the more so since this sporty aesthetic doesn't speak to me anyway. The 5050P and 1569J are really something else for me... Best, Emmanuel

Maybe not my favorite chronograph but it is well proportioned and the sporty aesthetic is reasonably well pulled off 👍🏻

you like (ultra) fast running hands. I have to say that they drive me nuts, personally, especially the 'foudroyante' ones. So, definitely not for me (too much activity on the dial as soon as the chronograph is activated), but undoubtedly appealing (even I... 

I've sold my JLC Duometre QL primarily due to the constant foudroyante second hand... at least you can activate/deactivate it on this one.

I admire the achievement too. However, as Bruno has noted, the finishing isn't on par with the half a million asking price. Also, as Mike has noted, a steel case (and a lower price) would probably have made more sense since the target seems to be a wealth... 

I will not comment on the finishing issue that has been much debated here already (with right imho as I share the concern about this issue) so I will more comment the aesthetic issue. The color combination and global design could have been a good idea for...

The dial color is superb, the breguet numerals, the platinum case do not disappoint. I love a sporty watch that n precious metal. It’s a beauty. Thanks for sharing.

That said, as Mike H has suggested, steel would have made the watch more affordable. In platinum the asking price is half a million and, as Bruno pointed out, at this price point you are entitled to expect high-end hand finishing, which isn't the case her... 

Or is this just an image illusion? ...  

In other terms, I have noticed this problem of course, but I think it's a photographic problem. The next photos show what the dial really looks like. Best, Emmanuel
