Patek Philippe

I had some chronos in the past (and still have)

and I must say I nearly never use them. But, like many complications I must say that in the mean time I'm quite happy to have a chrono watch as well...

I imagine that, like most of the complications we like in watchmaking but don't use, it is sometimes more for the craftmanship, engineering solutions etc... than the real usefulness.

As you mentionned, the manual chronograph are a very appealing interpretation of the chrono function (though it is around 74K€ in Europe versus 67K€ for the 5930). I would consider personally more the style of the watch above the functions in this case but this is just me. The craftmanship and joy to look at a manual wound chrono is another story!

Cheers Karl,

Mark
