So if you see what ppl Are paying in secondary market, you want to eat into that margin as much as possible. I would buy any PP sports watch at retail. And most would as well. So while the prices IS nuts, the market will certainly hold.
For me it's ok. Not the best they ever made but not bad either. Indeed it's not very daring to make a square Nautilus. Using the same dial, hands, bracelet ... At least the bracelet should imo have been different. The Nautilus is somewhat rounder, so the ...
There shouldn’t be an entry level Patek. Patek should be aspirational. When other entry brands average pricing is 8k, a 40k Patek seems appropriate. Plus one can get a secondary calatrava for half the price. Of course this is IMHO.
Patek has turned sporty, that's fine because this is what new customers want. Soon the vintage calatravas, starting from the 33 mm size, will fall drastically p.s. Stern's statements are soooooooooooo funny

With some brands your money is safe. But most watches you can buy at a discount in secondary market these days. So ppls are willing to pay premium for that security.
30m? it won't hold a day in a Florida summer.. And then there is a list of flaws for an expensive 2024 watch.. The design is the last thing that worries me,
..TS vanity exercise. why do a new collection when you just square the nautilus, making it much worse than the original? i believe that it was done to erase genta's design legacy and create TS' legacy. unfortunately the piggybacking was done poorly from a...
Some thoughts about Cubitus. The case and head of the watch are really squarish and sharp angled, almost Brutalist in architectural style. Brutalism is an architectural style using a lot of concrete, and a lot of government/university buildings in the 50s...
If you look at the significant price increases across the board at Patek Philippe, a Calatrava with date is now $43,000 USD! I'd say the new watch is in line with the current pricing structure. Now, you could make the argument that a 5330 World Time watch...
