I had the 5170G, which I really liked. Those wonderful Breguet numerals, in particular, are simply a feast for the eyes. However, in the end, it was the 5170J that impressed me even more. I really like the yellow gold on this watch, and the Roman numerals really stand out. A wonderful addition to my 1st-gen Datograph.

I am happy to hear that you love it a lot ! From my discussions with other collectors, some have issues with overall balance of the dial in that the middle of the subdials do not line up with three and nine.

There are many variations of the 5170 (material, dial circumference print, indexes, hands), but I like this 5170G-001 the best. But to be honest, I want them all.
