When the first 5170 model, the J, was released, I liked the offset small circle position, but I didn’t really like the Roman numeral indexes. Perhaps it was because I wasn't interested in vintage-style designs at the time. However, I really liked the G. I've always liked the white of the A/G/P models, and the slim, short hands match the circumference of this pulse meter well, I think. After that, several models with leaf hands were released, but to me the dial balance was off for this size. In particular, the first leaf hand model, the 5170G-010 with a black dial, was difficult to read. The P is also cool, but there aren't many watches that look good with diamond indexes.
