On the 5236...went to Patek site...the case looks a bit chunky. Chunkier than the 11mm.
I guess I expected thinner for a micro-rotor movement.

New Perpetual and Calatravas are fantastic. Today, PP has shown one more time that they are at the top of this industry.
To me the overall line up is great, especially the
5236P and 4947/1A. Do know believe there has been a steel annual calendar before.
Love the black calatrava just not sold yet on the hands. They seem a bit broad and sporty for a watch like this.
They appear similar to the ones on the newer GS lines. I think I would have preferred the handsets of any of the other models. Need to see in the flesh.

I also like the simplicity of the dial’s presentation. But one misgiving and one observation. First, I keep thinking “there should be a space between the day and the date and between the date and the month.” That might be peculiar to me because I do a lot...

But I am attracted to the 6119G even though I am usually not a fan of hobnail bezels. Here, the bold hands, dial texture (vertical brushed, my favourite), and the superb updated movement make it a winner. To be tried on the wrist!

The 5236p date display doesn't work for me, a cluttered line with off putting round wheel sides. Also pretty large dimensions not in keeping with a PP pc. The 6119, as many others have said, is extremely similar and not as attractive as the Vacheron Const...

I applaude the innovative 5236P calibre. And hope to could see it in real to check the legibility of the "day date month". Maybe, looking at official photos, I should have expected a different color (i.e. blue) just for the date to increase the legibility...
I agree. To make the single line of information more legible I think the day and date wheels should be blue with white lettering, then there would appear to be more separation, and the date would stand out better.

Starting to feel the hobnail is incongruous
Hobnail needs romans I think - bauhaus and whatnot - non hobnail and it would have been great fresh Calatrava.

The in-line date display is a design delight. Perfectly sized and legible and keeping the dial uncluttered. Patek has stepped up the game and made it tougher for other brands to do any better. IMHO this is a gauntlet thrown at A.Lange & Sohne's Lange ...
