It all depends on the condition, of the bracelet and the watch.
I agree that a bracelet in bad condition gives a cheap feeling on the whole watch.
But take a Vintage Rolex in superb condition, from the band to the case, without forgetting the dial and hands, and the feeling is difficult to beat.

The white Milgauss is a very underrate watch but pack no less substance. The center polish link on the bracelet have less visual impact when is on the white Milgauss. Strong with a touch of elegant. This is the model that brought me in to Rolex Universe. ...

two picks for me: -16610lv because of the maxi dial and teh fact that it commemorates the 50th anniversary of the sub -116520 because of the 4130 and in stainless steel with a white dial of course because it is sporty and elegant
