why they packaged the gun from the factory so excessively greased up. Perhaps it's an indicator of how they see it ought to be ran with grease and lubricants.... I cleaned it up, and reapplied lube to all rails and the barrel exterior itself, and added a touch of grease to the disconnector, hammer, and front and back of the trigger bow. I feel that covers 99% of what the platform needs to run really well. I'll add a bit of grease to the mainspring plunger occasionally as well....
